A grab bag episode where we try all the special edition snacks April has hoarded in her pantry over the last 3 weeks. Her husband was about to light them on fire if we didn't get them out there.
\n\nMany highs and lows on this one. We have my all-time top most favorite candy: Circus Peanuts.
\nBut also some straight Rap Snack ripoff Lay's "Remix" potato chips that scorch our precious eating holes.
On this episode:
\n\nWe take a tasty jaunt around our favorite local guilty pleasures with master Charlottean, Erin Breeden. April starts rubbing her thighs vigorously in an attempt to deal with euphoric pallet overload. Ashley forgets that Amanda was our first guest. Eric almost forgot to record the episode. Let's dive in!
\n\nCourses:
\n\nErin Breeden is Cheif Relations Officer at Advent Coworking and a true treasure to the local Charlotte community as an entrepreneur, writer, and her just general magnetic presence at any and all the coolest local events. She is launching the Advent Coworking Podcast on May 22nd where she'll be talking with guest from the community who are not just thinking outside the box but are redefining it.
Special Guest: Erin Breeden.

\nCadbury Creme Egg Cookie
\nNerds jelly Beans
\nWeird ass Russell Stover eggs that made me puke.
One of these is not a real message printed on Sweathearts brand Valentine's Day candy hearts. Tune in to find out.
\nAlso find out what local radio station we trash.
We sample a selection of this season's hottest trend: spicy candy.
\n\nPlus a couple bonus candies from our recent trips.
\n\nApril, appropriately, sweats through her sweatshirt. Infant podcaster EP shows off her brand new crawling skills around the studio floor.
\nWe were so close to keeping this one under an hour 🤷♀️
Cereal is a podcast from this American life (sorry Sarah Koenig but cereal is more American than Serial so I'm stealing your elevator pitch). Cereal tells one story - a true story - over the first course of the day, breakfast.
\n\nQuite literally the Morning Star, cereal follows a hauntingly similar plot arch to that of Lucifer. From humble beginnings created during radical religious-based dietary movements of the latter half of the 1800s, cereal has fallen from a healthy alternative to the "evils of coffee" and overindulgence of morning sausage consumption to a primary sugar blasted processed grain barely considered food.
\n\nJoin us as we try the worst junk cereals of 2018.

WE'RE HERE
\n\nJust a few snack fiends who decided to start a podcast to build a biweekly excuse to eat the worst food we can find. Growing through adolescence in the 90's, we were subject to the pinnacle of the junk food onslaught on America's youth. No doubt a non-trivial agent in shaping our adult minds -- primarily through sugar highs and a barrage of dental visits. On our first episode, we dig into the PSL scene storming through October. Probably good to get this one out of the way early, because I pretty much can't stand the grocer aisles lined with pumpkin spice everything this time of year.
\n\nSo join us on a nostalgic ride down America's best of food's worst.
